Yesterday for service I did something seemingly small, but it was fun. And it was something I almost walked away from. After church I was standing by the whiteboard in the big room after Relief Society talking to a friend when a member of the presidency started erasing the board. I started to back away to make room for her to erase the board when I had the thought to pick up an eraser and start erasing the side of the board I was closest to. It was kinda fun. A different service. And she thanked me for the help.
Today I did little things to help my fam around the house. I just love service. I love how it keeps us from becoming too self-involved and helps us to stay aware of others and their needs.
