Thursday (aka Day #71): To serve I helped a friend with a problem they were having. Well… I tried to help. J
Friday (aka Day #72): I cleaned up the dishes for my family.
Saturday (aka Day #73): I vacuumed for my family.
Sunday (aka Day #74): I looked for someone sitting alone in church and sat by them and talked with them and how they were doing before the meeting started. I really love doing that. I love that it keeps me aware of other people and off the social glue that can suck us into a self-indulged world. I’m grateful the Spirit reminds me to do this and look to others.
Monday (aka Day #75): Yesterday I spoke with a good friend about happenings in their life and tried to offer some good advice to help and comfort them. I hope it helped.
Tuesday (aka Day #76): I’ve been saying “Hi!” to as many people as I can to serve today. It’s been a really fun goal! And it’s kept me aware of other people as I’ve walked down the hall at work, through the store, etc. Greetings are a simple way to lift someone’s day, to help them feel recognized, and to take the focus off of self.
