Day #33

Another short service day. However, I've come to a realization with this service that I'm going to make MORE of an effort to look for the service I do. Some days I just kind of look back and see some little thing I've done, and granted, that DOES count as service. And it DOES help someone in some way, but it's my mind frame that I want to change during this process. I want to become LOST in the service and good of others and I'm not. That is one point to this blog. So from now on I'm going to work to make a bigger effort to really look at how I can help others and not just sit back at the end of the day and think, "Okay, now how did I serve??"

So today I looked and saw that the Linger Longer committee could use extra hands as they were putting chairs away after our delicious feast of muffins and chocolate milk. I was leaving, but was grateful for the above-mentioned epiphany that reminded me to look harder for ways to help. So i jumped in and helped. Looking harder makes service more fulfilling. :)
